«My creations talk about man’s interior path. Matter gives life to Explosion, the crop of creativity and energy. Both pieces rest on a network of metal wires covered in fabric, solid skeleton-structures that support and feed both fantasy and thought, also in the expression of the creative gesture.
Energy, strength and life are all to be found in the big ‘Rosa Sognata’, metaphor of the “heart” whose fragility is told amongst the weaves of ‘I Giganti di Vetro’ (the Glass Giants). Here weakness and fear are bound by warmth and lightness, represented by wool which restrains our thoughts within the transparency and fragility of glass. Once again it is all sustained by a well embedded and tough structure, exactly like us women.»
