The Lamps

The Lanose

This is the most elaborate of the four lines we propose. The lampshade consists of numerous round petals of wool felted by hand, all of various dimensions and tonalities, with a border hand embroidered with variously coloured woollen threads which are carefully matched to the colour of the petals.

This composition does not follow a predefined scheme but is developed on a flat board and then assembled piece by piece; depending on their size and colour the petals are shifted around and matched together, according to a creative project that can change from moment to moment, and are finally applied to a structure of the best adapted size.

The bases for these lamps are either in wood clad in rings which are sewn and twisted by hand in order to create a continuity between the diffuser and the lamp’s support, or else in lathed and varnished precious wood.
